ASAP Start Above Market Pay Rate Full working rights in Australia ALG is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join a well-established organization based at Darwin International Airport.
This position is on a casual contract, completing full time hours.
About the Role This position is responsible for performing maintenance activities in line, as well as supervising and overseeing Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
The role is based at Darwin International Airport The successful candidate possesses the following attributes: A CASA licence and or Certificate IV in Aeroskills (All Trades).
Previous experience working the B737-800.
Previous Base and Line maintenance experience.
A proven track record of following safety procedures and policies.
A competent communicator and attentive to detail The ability to obtain an airport security clearance (ASIC), and alcohol and drug tests.
Key accountabilities of this role include: Adhere to all NZCAA Rule Part 145 requirements, as well as company Exposition, policies, and procedures.
Perform aircraft maintenance tasks on the aircraft and its components as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Ensure all physical activities on the aircraft meet established standards and are completed within specified timeframes.
Actively contribute to achieving and maintaining reliability above 98.5%.
Report any safety issues or concerns using the safety reporting system.
