About the role
Laing O'Rourke are looking for an Environmental Advisor to join us working on a large-scale public infrastructure project based in Armadale, WA.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Coaching, mentoring, and promoting excellence in project environmental matters. Delivery of environmental programmes and initiatives on the project. Providing advice to supervisors, project management team, employees, and other project stakeholders. About you
You will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science. An intermediate level of experience, having worked on major construction projects in Australia. Basic environmental risk management capabilities within a major infrastructure project environment. The ability to keep abreast of environmental legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements. Exceptional energy and drive to grow yourself and the company. You will demonstrate a passion and determination to succeed and act at all times in accordance with Laing O'Rourke guiding principles and values, which means working collaboratively as One Team across businesses, teams, and functions and behaving with integrity in all dealings with others. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach in their work and who seeks continuous improvement through self-development and learning from others.
