One of the greatest assets of the Lactalis business is the strength of its portfolio of iconic Australian dairy brands which include strong national brands such as Pauls, Oak, Vaalia, Tamar Valley, Jalna and Ice Break.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Lactalis marketing team in the role of Marketing Portfolio Manager for our White milk and Cream brand stable. This includes a key role in the strategic marketing of our Pauls Dairy Brand – the #1 Dairy brand in Australia and an Brand Manager looking after our Pauls brand – an icon of the dairy industry.
Working in the Beverages and Milk Division as a senior member of the broader marketing team, this role will be responsible for building, growing and driving the brand strategy for the portfolio by applying a creative approach to convert insights into brands sales and profit. Key measures of the role will be achieving strong brand health for the portfolio that generates strong growth in sales, market share and commercial return.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing, communicating and implementing strategic portfolio marketing plans that deliver optimal results. Leading a team of marketing professionals to implement the portfolio marketing strategies, whilst coaching and developing the skill sets within the team. Leading and ensuring the timely delivery of key brand activities as defined in the annual marketing plan. Leading the media and communications strategy to optimise the portfolio's presence in market. Leading multi-departmental project teams in the development of new products, managing the budget and the time line and working closely with R&D, Production and Sales. Delivering innovation projects to achieve a targeted innovation rate for the beverages and milk division. The successful applicant will have:
Minimum of 7+ years of marketing & brand management experience (preferably within FMCG). Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Commerce. Strong marketing acumen. Strong commercial and financial capability. Competent at coaching others. A demonstrated experience in guiding brand strategy within a large organisation would be an advantage.
