20th December, 2024 Position: Bridge Labourer  Location: Wagga Wagga  Start: January 2025 Wagga Wagga area Full time hours $42.04 per hour + Super Our government client is seeking Labourers to join their crews for bridge work in the Wagga Wagga area.
This role requires 90% of time camping away with accommodation provided and living away allowance paid.
The role offers full time hours with regular overtime available.
Main duties include: General cleaning and sweeping of bridges and culvert General painting of concrete, timber, and steel structures Housekeeping of site tool sheds and trailers Assisting with formwork for concrete bridge elements Assisting with steel fixing Using battery powered hand tools  Essential requirements: Previous road working experience or similar Construction Industry White Card Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence Workers on Foot (or willing to obtain) Traffic Control ticket preferred but not essential Flexibility for 90% of time camping away Ability to work effectively and co-operatively in a team environment   This assignment will run up to the end of June 2025, with the potential to be extended.
