We are seeking a motivated Labourer to join Ventia's Tree Management team on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the health and beauty of the Mornington Peninsula Shire's trees and green spaces.
You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting in various maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree removals, chipper operation and storm response.

Role Description: Assist in delivering tree maintenance works, including pruning, vegetation management, and storm response activities.
Operate equipment such as chippers, chainsaws, and pole saws (training provided if necessary).
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in ongoing training and development.
Experience and Qualifications: No formal qualifications required, but a passion for the environment and a willingness to learn are essential.
0-3 years of experience in tree management or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
Current Victorian Driver's License is required.
Certifications in Level 2 First Aid, Traffic Control, EWP, Working at Heights, and Chainsaw Operation are advantageous but can be obtained during employment.
Ability to operate minor tools and equipment is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
