General Labourer/All Rounder – Regional QLD Government Opportunity Travel and Accommodation included FNQ Country Community The Opportunity: This is a great opportunity to utilise your diverse labouring skills in a small and vibrant Queensland Community situated half way between Georgetown in the Etheridge Shire, 150km to the East and Normanton in the Carpentaria 150km to the West.
Job Description: This is a temporary role for 2 – 3 weeks starting asap and is not a FIFO.
You will be required to stay on site for the duration of the contract.
Travel and accommodation is included.
You will be required to perform a range of tasks involving general labourer skills like basic repairs and maintenance.
About You To be successful in the role you must have good general skills with demonstrated physical ability to undertake manual work for long outdoor periods.
You must be a good team player with excellent customer service and communication skills.
You must be enthusiastic and energetic with a positive can-do attitude and available for an immediate start.
You comply with Work Health & Safety requirements.
A general construction card & MR Licence would be desirable.
Some demonstrated experience with civil construction, maintenance, basic concrete form setting, and road construction would be desirable.
