Here's how you'll be a part of our team Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime Permanent full-time position Monday to Friday The position of Yardperson at our Newcastle Grounds & Specialist branch in Beresfield is a key support role, responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to: Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading and unloading procedures.
Perform general yard duties, including but not limited to cleaning of plant & equipment, testing water-filled barriers, hose testing and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and organised yard.
Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment.
Promote a Safety First culture – talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.
