Excellent opportunity for experienced Labourer to join a rapidly growing, global brand
We are seeking a Labourer at our Round Wood Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
The positions will start as Casual, with the opportunity to move to Permanent.
About the role
Undertake tasks to ensure the correct fabrication, packing, strapping, tagging of fabricated pine & hardwood productsUndertake the role with a strong awareness of the health & safety of yourself & others Monitory inventory & product quality, completing production & quality recordsCarry out daily plant adjustments & maintenanceWork efficiently & contribute to a healthy team environmentUndertake other duties as required
What are we looking for
Previous experience as a Labourer (experience in similar industry ideal)Loader and forklift experience preferredGeneral machine & labouring experience or aptitudeKnowledge of the operation of Fabrication & Bundling stationsPractical/plant maintenance skillsAbility to work unsupervised & enjoy contributing to a productive team environmentStrong commitment to workplace safetyDemonstrated initiative and reliability with a strong work ethicPhysically fit with a satisfactory pre-employment medical screening
