About our Graduate Program Hear from a past graduate as they share their experience in GSLR and how the public sector is a place of opportunity.
Our 12-month program provides you with a rare opportunity to embark on a successful industrial relations career.
You'll start the program in GSLR – a central agency function within the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS).
We'll provide you with a tailored plan based your own development needs – including on-the-job training from some incredibly talented advisers, offsite training with other graduates, and work placements across the public sector.
Most importantly, we'll continue to invest in your development once the graduate program is over!
About the role Graduates can expect to gain exposure to labour policy and framework reform, negotiating industrial agreements, and consulting to public sector employers.
You'll engage with a range of challenging stakeholders and work with an amazing and supportive team.

Who are we looking for?

You must have completed (or will complete) a relevant undergraduate degree or postgraduate qualification between 2022 and 2024 – typically but not limited to industrial relations, human resource management, psychology or law.
