Job Details In this role, you will be responsible for processing laboratory samples efficiently and safely.
You will develop skills in collecting, analysing and testing a variety of samples, including lubricating oils, grease, coolants, diesel and emulsion fluids from machinery used in mining, construction, refrigeration, aviation and automotive industries.
Key responsibilities: Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises Unpack and sort samples Assign and manage label numbers accurately Analyse routine samples using various instrumentation Correlate data from sample analyses Conduct competency-based laboratory studies Perform housekeeping tasks and general equipment maintenance Handle company instrumentation, tools and property with care The role requires adherence to deadlines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the ability to work on a fortnightly rotation with start times between 7am, 8am and 9am.
Overtime hours are available on a voluntary basis.
This two-year traineeship offers significant career growth potential and provides a pathway to becoming a qualified Laboratory Technician.
