This is a casual opportunity for a Laboratory Technician with chemistry credentials to join our client-focused team in a Tuesday-Saturday shift role, 10am - 6pm.
The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.
The Day to Day Manual handling up to 15 kgs - trays Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples Completing tasks accurately, within set timeframes Organising daily work to optimise efficiency and meet turnaround requirements Maintaining equipment, including calibration and cleaning Contributing to a clean, tidy and organised lab environment Assisting with ad-hoc sampling, sample receipt and housekeeping tasks The Essentials One year's relevant experience (a degree or diploma preferred) Good communication and interpersonal skills High level attention to detail Good chemical knowledge Ability to work autonomously or in a team Ability to plan and organise work Ability to complete manual handling tasks Judgement and problem-solving skills Client service focus Positive attitude to safety requirements Appropriate level of aptitude on the tests allocated How to Apply Please apply online and provide a cover letter and CV that best demonstrate your motivation and ability to meet the requirements of this role.
