Position Details Science Laboratory Technician Full-time, Temporary position, to commence as soon as possible. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, experienced and qualified Science Laboratory Technician at Trinity College.
This is a temporary leave replacement position with an immediate start for Term 1 2025.
The Fixed Term concludes on the 11 April 2025.
The Science Laboratory Technician works under the guidance of the Head of Learning Area and closely with the Science staff to ensure the science curriculum is delivered efficiently and safely throughout the year.
The Science Laboratory Technician is responsible for:
Preparing chemicals, equipment, and materials.Designing and constructing teaching aids.Collecting and caring for living organisms in compliance with laboratory practices and legislative requirements.Organising preparation areas and classroom laboratories, ensuring a safe learning environment for students and staff.Maintaining chemicals and equipment, including repairs.For further information please visit the College website: www.trinity.wa.edu.au/discover/careers Closing Date for Applications: 3pm on Friday 24 January 2025.
