Laboratory Technician

FIFO Laboratory Technician required for 7/7 roster for 4 months coverage.
Your new role
Seeking a Laboratory Technician to coordinate and prioritise work to ensure efficient completion of analyses to meet turnaround times.
Preparation, analysis, and reporting of samples to agreed standards. Maintaining the Laboratory and its equipment in a safe and reliable working state. Adhering to site and Laboratory safety procedures. Good housekeeping while and after completion of work. Maintenance of Laboratory overheads, i.e., reagent preparations as needed, monitoring and maintenance of consumable stocks, equipment prestart and defined operational maintenance of Laboratory equipment. Review of QAQC and initiation of all required remedial action based on out-of-speciation QAQC prior to reporting results to customers. What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within a similar role is required as well as a driver's licence. MMQ and medical within 12 months is also highly desirable.
