We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.
Job DescriptionAbout the role We are currently accepting applications for the position of Laboratory Technician in our modern NATA-accredited laboratory for an immediate start. This is a full-time role where you will be required to prepare samples for analysis.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparation and analysis - prepare samples for analysis and ensure tests are conducted within holding timeQuality control - adhere to all quality control requirementsSafety - adhere to all laboratory safety requirements and PPE usage.Documentation - completed accurately and timelyHousekeeping - ensure ongoing housekeeping to keep a clean workspaceDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout you The ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional attention to detailsExcellent communicator (verbal and written)Ability to prioritise competing demandsAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with a 'can-do' attitudeTeam playerA degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferredPrevious experience in a similar role is desirableAs an employee of Envirolab Group, you will work in a highly supportive team environment with industry leaders.
