Great Service.  Envirolab Group comprising Envirolab Services, MPL Laboratories and Labtec Auckland provides a broad range of laboratory testing services such as environmental chemistry, microbiology, asbestos, workplace exposure & air monitoring and product formulation and agrichemicals. We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality.  Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking applications for a Laboratory Technician to join our modern, NATA-accredited laboratory with an immediate start. This is a casual position that will require full-time availability. The role involves preparing samples for analysis and requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various tasks and work across multiple teams. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory processes.ResponsibilitiesSample Preparation & Analysis: Prepare and analyse samples, ensuring tests are conducted within the required holding time.Quality Control: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.Safety: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.Documentation: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping. Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouThe ideal candidate will possess:Exceptional attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork skillsA degree in Science with a Chemistry major is preferredPrevious experience in a similar role is desirableAt Envirolab Group, you'll be part of a supportive team environment led by industry experts.
