We are currently seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Insight Repro Pty Ltd in Emerald, QLD.
This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting our critical laboratory operations.

What you'll be doing Performing a variety of laboratory analyses and processing according to standard operating proceduresMaintaining accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activitiesEnsuring the proper handling, processing and storage of genetic materials (Livestock Semen)Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipmentAdhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsCorrect use of Liquid Nitrogen for CryopreservationCollaborating with the team to provide efficient and effective service delivery to clientsEnsuring accuracy, precision and traceability of samplesPerforming other duties as directed by the reporting ManagerWhat we're looking for Passion for the Agricultural scientific sectorStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise protocolsExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking skillsProven experience working as a flexible team member and effective communication skillsHighly driven, self-motivated, organized and ability to meet tight deadlinesPride in presentation of self and of work environmentEnthusiasm for career relevant training opportunities and travel for on-farm laboratory workShortlisted applicants will be required to complete an online DISC testWhat we offer At Insight Repro Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters personal and professional growth.
