We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our innovative team at our production site in Botany, NSW. In this role, you will support the Technical Service and R&D teams by performing routine benchwork tasks, maintaining accurate experimental records, and conducting tests on polyester and vinyl ester products. You will also be involved in technical service investigation testing, providing timely technical support to customers, and working closely with team members to ensure precise and prompt results.

ResponsibilitiesSupport Technical Service and Research & Development teams in day-to-day benchwork tasksMaintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observationsPerform testing and property determinations for various polyester and vinyl ester productsConduct technical service investigation testing of products and provide timely technical service to customers.Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate resultsEnsure lab activities comply with ISO standardsRequired skills and experienceFresh graduates are welcomeExperience in chemical lab work, especially with polyester resin properties and applications is an added advantageAbility to lift up to 20kg pail when requiredStrong attention to detail and adherence to lab protocolsEffective communication skills and teamwork skillsIndustrial experience preferred, involving composites technology applications.Open to future relocation to Wacol, BrisbaneQualificationsBachelor of Science, majoring in ChemistryWe offerWe are proud to offer an international working experience with a tight-knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
