Plant Quality and Laboratory Technician Our client is a global leader in Mineral Processing with over 170 assets worldwide. As part of their continued commitment to Quality and Sustainability, they are looking for a Plant Quality and Environment Coordinator at one of their largest sites located on Bathurst, NSW. This is a key site supplying a range of industries including coal mining and agriculture. Role responsibilities: In charge of establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the Plant's Quality and Environmental management systems, including product regulatory standards. Ensuring all products meet specifications, satisfying customer requirements while optimizing raw material usage. Assessing the effectiveness and costs of current production processes, devising improvement strategies, and facilitating necessary changes. Supporting ANZ Area Quality Programs for Finished Products and Raw Materials. Cultivating a safe working environment and fostering a positive, cohesive workplace culture in line with company values. Contributing to ongoing enhancements of processes and systems to elevate both internal and external customer satisfaction. Responsible for investigating all internal product non-conformances and customer complaints. Prepare and manage all external sampling and testing requirements. Min. 3-5 years of experience in laboratory testing in similar industry. Previous Quality Management experience advantageous. Analytical and methodical skills in interpreting data. Team player with good communication skills and a can do, solutions focused attitude. Good organisation and planning skills. Ready to travel occasionally within ANZ.
