Who you are?
We are seeking casual Laboratory Technician's, who are excited by the challenges of our business and variety this roles offers.
We are looking for experienced technicians to work in our Digest Laboratory.
Your role will be using specialised equipment and performing laboratory testing.
You will also be involved in the simulation of minerals production processes in order to test the properties of minerals samples.
You will have: What will you bring to the role?
Experience working as a Technician or Analyst within a mining related Laboratory ICP MS experience highly desirable A Certificate III / IV in Laboratory Skills / Techniques is beneficial Must adhere to quality standards and have a strong commitment to safety.
Must be reliable and able to work rotational shift work on a roster (Day, Night and Afternoon shifts).
A strong team and customer focus.
Sound reading and numerical skills.
A methodical, well organised approach to your work.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening.
Shift work roster: Monday to Friday 8 hour fortnightly rotating shift roster Day shift (6.00am – 2.00pm) Afternoon shift (2.00pm – 10.00pm) Night shift (10.00pm – 6.00am) **Full availability across all shifts is required **Optional weekend overtime may be available if there is an increase in workload Please note that as part of the recruitment experience you must be able to pass a comprehension, numerical and literacy test as well as a full Medical, Drug and Alcohol test.
