Assist in setting up and testing demonstration experiments under the direction of teaching staff.Safety & Compliance:Maintain an accurate Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) file, ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials, and conduct safety audits in accordance with OH&S guidelines.Inventory & Stock Control:Organise stock control procedures, including ordering supplies, managing inventories, and conducting a stocktake prior to budget preparation. Assist with budget management and expenditure tracking for the science department.Maintenance & Cleanliness:Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of laboratories, prep rooms, and equipment, including the sterilization of apparatus and cleaning of lab coats.
