Laboratory Technician - Construction Materials Testing

The Company: South West Soil and Aggregate Laboratory is a division of the Malatesta Group, a South West regional company, based in Bunbury, that has been providing services for civil contracting, state and local government and the local community for over 45 years.
The Position: We currently have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to start in January 2025 within our Construction Materials Testing Laboratory. Duties involve sampling and testing of asphalt and aggregate, asphalt coring, calibration, cleaning and maintenance of equipment, and preparing reports.
Essential Criteria: The successful candidates must have:
Certificate 3 or higher in Laboratory Skills, or similar relevant qualification White/Blue Card Manual Drivers License Strong work ethic Physically fit Punctual and reliable It would be advantageous to have:
Materials testing experience Construction experience The pre-employment check involves obtaining a drug and alcohol screening.
