The Role
ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Traralgon, equipped with the latest in analytical technology. This is a full-time opportunity for a Laboratory Technician with Microbiology credentials to join our client-focused team in a Mon-Friday-shift role.
The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.
The day to day Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions. Interpretation of results and LIMS entry Completing tasks accurately, within set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standard. Organising daily work to optimise efficiency and meet turnaround requirements Maintaining equipment, including calibration and cleaning Contributing to a clean, tidy and organised lab environment. The Role
ALS Water operates a modern laboratory in Traralgon, equipped with the latest in analytical technology. This is a full-time opportunity for a Laboratory Technician with Microbiology credentials to join our client-focused team in a Mon-Friday-shift role.
The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory.

Assisting with Ad-hock sampling. sample receipt and house-keeping tasks  The Essentials Experience in a high throughput, client-focused environment - ideally with commercial laboratory exposure Good knowledge of Microbiology and demonstrated competency in lab skills Effective written and verbal communications, computer literacy. Well-organised, task-focused with attention to detail Strong team player who can also work autonomously and with initiative A clear understanding of HSE principles and practice and commitment to safe working.
