The Role As the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring the day-to-day laboratory functions and ensure full compliance to product specifications & GLP standards.
This role will have a team to manage, so we are looking for someone who has previous experience as a people leader and leading a team.
Our Bentley site is where we manufacture and distribute a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from over 30 farms in the Albany, Harvey and Northcliffe regions of south-western WA.
The site currently manufactures more than 70 million litres a year including the state's number one flavoured milk product - Masters!
This role is a Monday to Friday site-based role with flexible start and finish times.
Responsibilities Maintain, implement and monitor laboratory systems & GLP standard Monitor product compliance and investigate conformance Co-ordinate equipment servicing and calibrations Organise and facilitate laboratory programs such as sensory evaluation, proficiency testing, trade measure compliance, pathogen testing, contaminate monitoring Maintain laboratory staff training compliance About you Previous experience managing a team Tertiary qualification in Food Science or related field Solid process knowledge in food safety and quality requirements Previous Exposure in HACCP / GMP / GLP / BRC Proficient knowledge in SAPQM and INTELEX or related preferred Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
