Laboratory Service Technician

EduSupplies are a leading supplier of  servicing laboratory equipment in schools and universities on the east coast. We are looking to add a service technician to cover the Brisbane region. At EduSupplies we have built our business on integrity, reliability and a commitment to quality. The role is an ad hoc casual role (as jobs come up) and training will be provided. Start may be immediate for the right candidate. This role would be perfect as a supplementary income or would suit someone who is semi-retired (or looking to move that way).
Main Duties and Responsibilities Confirming booked jobs with the customerServicing school and university lab equipment, mainly:MicroscopesBalancesPipettesAnswer customer questions while working on the jobAdd job data to EduSupplies systemsGenerate sales opportunities Reports to Service ManagerSkills and Experience To be a successful applicant you must: 
Have a current working with children check (or be able to obtain one)Have basic mechanical knowledge of instrumentsHave basic computer skillsHave a willingness to work within a systemCarry a small range of tools for service and repairDrivers license and carIt would be ideal if you also: 
Have experience in a scientific technical repair roleHave worked in schools before
