About the opportunity Our product development chemists are dynamic, multi-talented, innovative, and dedicated to achieving high-quality outcomes while demonstrating initiative. We are looking for a formulation chemist who can enhance our company with their expertise and skills.
Responsibilities Develop formulations, create test samples, and scale up product candidates for production. Produce accurate and high-quality written reports documenting research and findings. Conduct quality control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, and environmental samples to support manufacturing operations. Assist in creating procedures to facilitate the manufacture of new products. Effectively communicate project progress, as well as any issues or risks, to the laboratory manager. Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables to ensure optimal functionality. About You Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant science discipline, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or formulation science. Possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow in your role. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Have proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exhibit well-developed planning and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong problem-solving skills, with the capacity to address challenges effectively. Experience in a research and development environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with agricultural or veterinary chemicals is an advantage.
