Your Role Applications are invited from suitably qualified applications for the term-time position of Laboratory Assistant to join the staff of St Patrick's College, Mackay. This is a term-time continuing position for 30hpw, for an immediate commencement or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
The Laboratory Assistant works under general supervision of the Head of Department and provides support services to the Science Teaching programs of the College.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about education and working with students.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of, and a commitment to, the ethos of Catholic education. In addition you will have excellent time management skills, well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills.
A Diploma in Laboratory Skills and Practice or relevant qualifications and experience would be highly regarded.
