Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:Routine receipting and processing of specimens; including operation and maintenance of analysers Pre and post analytical specimen handlingIdentification and prioritisation of urgent specimens Filing and storage of specimens and data entryAssisting Scientists in the Labas requiredContinuous learning of processing requirements of different types of samples for different tests Staying up to date with processing updates Respond to result, sample requirements and general queries Identifying and resolving problems on at the pre-analytic stage About you To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:Excellent customer service and communication skillsThe ability to cope and thrive in a busy environmentAbility to work with minimal supervision and work as a team Knowledge in ensuring compliance with quality control procedures, maintaining records, and following safety protocols in the laboratoryA willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures.
