The role: Opportunities exist for Analysts to join our team at our Salisbury site.
Casual positions available.
The successful candidates will be directly responsible for performing routine sample preparation, testing, registering of samples, and preparing microbiological media.
Your day-to-day will include but is not limited to: Conducting routine sample preparation and a range of routine testsMembrane filtration using the vacuum manifoldStartup of microbiological tests for detection of bacteria and inhibitory assaysEnsuring all work practices within the area are performed to the relevant standards and proceduresReceiving and logging in samples using laboratory application softwareWhat's needed? To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Science or related discipline (Desirable)Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment (Desirable)Ability to prioritise work in order to meet daily deadlinesSafety is an absolute.
Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
