The role: Opportunities exist for Analysts to join our team at our Salisbury site.
Casual positions available.
The successful candidates will be directly responsible for performing routine sample preparation, testing, registering of samples and preparing microbiological media.
Your day to day will include but is not limited to: Conducting routine sample preparation and a range of routine tests Membrane filtration using the vacuum manifold Startup of microbiological tests for detection of bacteria and inhibitory assays Ensuring all work practices within the area are performed to the relevant standards and procedures Receiving and logging in samples using laboratory application software This role would suit a candidate wishing to pursue a career in the industry.
What's needed?
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following: Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Science or related discipline (Desirable) Hands on experience in a laboratory environment (Desirable) Ability to prioritise work in order to meet daily deadlines Safety is an absolute.
Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.
