This is an opportunity for a Lab Assistant/Technician to join the team. We have day shift on offer. You will be joining a fantastic team, working in the food industry, located in Murarrie.
Shift time: 6:00am-2:00pm
Pay rate $30.16
The role
• Perform routine quality assurance tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual and associated
procedures and work instructions
• Liaise with other Departments on site to ensure continual improvement of products and quality
systems;
• Assist in shelf life testing and monitor of Raw Materials and intermediates
• Assist with the Raw Materials releasing if required.
• Collect and retain retention and shelf life samples in accordance with laboratory practices
• Arrange the pre-delivery of finished goods to selected customers
• Ensure that Laboratory and equipment are kept clean and tidy
• Daily calibration of equipment before testing
To apply you will need
• Diploma or Degree in Food Science or relevant laboratory and/or Industry experience
• Appropriate experience in food testing in food laboratories.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous ERP experience, preferably in SAP
• Ability to meet deadlines, self-managed and ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and high
accuracy
