L1 Technical Support

As a Level 1 Technical Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing L1 helpdesk support and assisting with onsite technical support as needed.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our technical support team, deliver exceptional service to our customers, and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:


Basic Troubleshooting:
Resolving simple hardware, software, or network issues (e.g.
password resets, printer connectivity, account unlocks,).
Guiding users through predefined solutions or knowledge base articles.
Ticket Management:
Logging and categorising incoming tickets or calls.
Escalating unresolved issues to higher-level support (L2 or L3) when required.
Monitoring and Alerts:
Monitoring systems for alerts or notifications (e.g.
outages, security warnings).
Providing initial responses or acknowledging alerts.
Communication:
Engaging with end-users via ticketing systems, email, phone, or chat to understand their concerns.
Updating users on the status of their requests.
Key Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with basic IT tools and systems (e.g.
ticketing systems, remote desktop tools).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow scripts and predefined troubleshooting processes.
Basic knowledge of software suites (e.g.
Microsoft 365) and common IT setups.
