Atlas delivers traffic management capabilities to support our Group asphalt and spray seal delivery operations as well as our external client base across the Sydney Metro, Greater Sydney, and Regional NSW.Our Group has built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects and our core values of safety, integrity, and innovation drive us to continuously improve and deliver exceptional results for our clients.About the roleAtlas is seeking self-motivated Traffic Controllers to join our growing traffic team located in Prestons NSW to help support the delivery of key road infrastructure projects across Sydney and Greater Sydney.What you'll be doingImplementing and maintaining traffic management plans to control the movement of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure the safety of workers and the public at various client project sites.Monitoring traffic flow and adjusting control measures as needed to maintain safety on project sites.Identifying and reporting any potential hazards or safety issues to site supervisors.Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and the public.What we're looking forA valid Traffic Controller certification including Traffic Controller Card (TCR), Implement Traffic Plans (IMP), TMA ticketed drivers (desired) or Prepare Work Zone TMP qualification (PWZ not essential).Drivers licence and Work Safely in the Construction Industry-White Card.Experience in a similar traffic control role, preferably in the construction or road maintenance industry but not essential.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively direct traffic and interact with the public.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A commitment to workplace health and safety.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including days / nights and weekends where required.What we offerAt Atlas, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and rewarding work environment for all our employees.
