An exciting opportunity is available for a KYC Specialist to join our team.
Your key responsibilities include:
Actively offer customers appropriate specialist advice to meet their needs and provide support for service issues.Provide superior day to day support to customers and bankers with primary responsibility for resolution of service requests to identify organisational entities.Build and maintain high quality relationships with customers through the provision of service and appropriate advice.Provide feedback to product and operations teams to develop better solutions and more efficient processes to support the provision of superior service.Identify and seek to resolve or escalate as appropriate non lending losses and compliance incidents.Ensure all activity and administration is consistent with the Bank's regulatory obligations (including FSR, AML etc).Positively influence the stakeholders and business partners to develop the best outcomes for Westpac and our customersProactively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency, risk, and compliance outcomes by working closely with cross-functional teams across the organisation. What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills:
High level knowledge of KYC & IDV banking processes end to end as well as the individual functions throughout the process.Understanding of continuous improvement and Lean methodologiesUnderstanding of Business support systems and toolsAbility to contribute to continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis and post implementation reviews.Ability to maintain and manage relationships with internal and external customers e.g., Team Members, Managers, Leaders, and external parties.Ability to utilise business metrics to drive continuous improvement in the areas of efficiency and quality.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office - must be proficient in the use of Excel and Power Point.Knowledge and application of compliance and legislative requirements.Understanding and applying the principles of risk management.
