About The RoleAs the Finance Manager at Kyabram District Health Service (KDHS), you will lead and oversee all aspects of our financial operations, ensuring the smooth management of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and aged care financial processes.
Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through cost-benefit analysis, driving financial performance, and implementing efficient systems and processes.
This role also involves collaborating with external accountants, supporting audit processes, and fostering a culture of excellence within the finance team.
Your leadership will contribute directly to KDHS's mission of helping our community live well, while promoting innovation, inclusion, and accountability in financial management.
This role has oversight of teams in the finance department, payroll, and contracts.
About You
Demonstrated knowledge of finance processes including debtors, creditors, budgeting, online banking and reconciliations.
Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks systematically, accurately, and within set deadlines.
Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, exhibiting high levels of initiative.
Strong ability to support and foster team development and capability growth.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
High level communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate and strengthen positive working relationships.
Accounting qualifications and healthcare finance experience are desirable.
