Kubernetes/ Eks Engineer

Kubernetes/ EKS Engineer Fin XL IT Professional Services is currently looking for a Kubernetes/ EKS Engineer to work with our team for a large client based in Sydney.
- Initial 3 Months contract with possible extension - Open to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane - Daily rate contract - ASAP Start Skills and Experience: Experience working with EKS clusters and maintaining them.
Strong experience with AWS and Public clouds.
Strong scripting experience for EKS migration.
EKS(AWS) & TKG(VMware) Cluster Administrator experience preferred.
Container and Automation experience on-premise Red Hat Open Shift clusters.
Centralised management experience including timely upgrade of add-ons for Kubernetes clusters like kube-proxy, CNI, Core DNS, kubedrainer, newrelic, fluentd, fluentbit, pinniped, etc.
Self-managing EKS clusters through Jenkins pipelines customisable as per the requirements of each application team using Cloud Formation templates and Jinja templating.
Quarterly upgrade/patch of EKS clusters.
Suggesting new practises and processes to secure Kubernetes clusters.
Experience with Kube-bench to generate CIS EKS Security Benchmark Audit reports.
Experience with OPA Gatekeeper for managing organisation policies on NBN EKS & TKG clusters.
