We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Contracts Administrator to join our growing team.
This position is ideally suited to a recent graduate and offers the unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gaining invaluable exposure to high-level decision-making across the business and project life cycle.
As a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing contracts, project documentation, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
This role involves a combination of both office-based responsibilities and site-based work, allowing you to have a hands-on approach in managing and overseeing the progress of fitout projects from both a strategic and operational perspective.
Key Responsibilities: Contract Management : Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
Project Documentation : Maintain and organize essential project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
Budget & Cost Control : Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring cost control through accurate tracking of expenses and monitoring of cash flow.
Tendering & Procurement : Oversee the tendering process, evaluate bids, issue contracts to subcontractors, and ensure that all procurement activities align with project timelines and quality standards.
Variation Management : Handle contract variations, ensuring that changes are documented and aligned with client expectations, and approved in accordance with the contract terms.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and the smooth running of projects.
Site-Based Engagement : Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, assess site conditions, and ensure that works are being completed in accordance with contractual terms and specifications.
Reporting & Compliance : Prepare and manage regular progress reports, highlighting project developments, risks, and compliance with safety, quality, and contractual obligations.

Key Requirements: An understanding and enthusiasm to make it within the industry is vital.
Knowledge and understanding of managing projects in both office and site environments, ensuring contract terms are adhered to and project goals are met.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (AS 4000, AS 4902, etc.), Australian construction law, and industry standards.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex) is an advantage.
A tertiary qualification in construction management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
