We are looking for an experienced Kronos Pro Architect to oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of our workforce management (WFM) solutions utilizing UKG Pro (previously known as Kronos). This position is crucial for developing scalable and efficient systems that adapt to our changing business requirements, ensuring adherence to workforce regulations, and facilitating integration with diverse enterprise systems. The successful candidate should possess significant expertise in WFM systems, integration approaches, and workforce data analytics.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture and Design: Spearhead the architecture and design of UKG Pro (Kronos) solutions to enhance workforce management processes, including timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll management.Integration with Systems: Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Kronos solutions with other enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, payroll, etc.) utilizing tools such as Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), APIs, and middleware.Custom Development Oversight: Supervise the creation of custom reports, Dataviews, and dashboards that meet specific business needs. Utilize SQL, Dimensions Analytics, and other tools to provide insights into workforce data.Compliance and Configuration Management: Ensure accurate setup of Pay and Work Rules, accruals, and entitlements, adhering to enterprise agreements, labor laws, and industry standards.Process Optimization and Automation: Formulate strategies to improve scheduling, rostering, and rule-based workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Implement automation for repetitive processes.Technical Leadership: Offer architectural direction to development teams, establish coding standards, and promote best practices in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.System Performance Monitoring and Maintenance: Keep track of the performance of Kronos systems, guarantee high availability, and plan for scaling, upgrades, and maintenance schedules.Project Management: Lead large-scale WFM initiatives from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.Collaboration with Stakeholders: Serve as the intermediary between IT, HR, and operational teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.Training and Documentation Development: Educate internal teams on the functionalities of the Kronos system, custom developments, and process improvements. Create and maintain architecture and solution documentation.Essential Criteria: Over 5 years of experience working with UKG Pro (Kronos) solutions, including Workforce Central and Workforce Integration Manager (WIM).In-depth understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, payroll processing, and the configuration of labor rules.Proficient in system integrations using APIs, WIM, and various middleware solutions.Practical experience in data analysis and report creation with tools like Dimensions, SQL, or comparable applications.Experience in project management for large-scale workforce management deployments, utilizing Agile or Kanban methodologies.Knowledgeable in ITIL, ServiceNow, or other ticketing and support systems.Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with cloud-hosted workforce management solutions, preferably UKG Dimensions is preferred.Familiarity with enterprise ERP or HRIS systems integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is nice to have.Knowledge of IT security practices, ensuring WFM solutions are compliant with data privacy and security standards is nice to have.Prior experience with Kronos system administration, including upgrades and patches is nice to have.Benefits Supportive and diverse workplace cultureProfessional Team EnvironmentOpportunities for career development
