The Role Working alongside the Manager, Strategy and Engagement, the Koori Caucus Coordinator role will work closely with the Yuma Yirramboi Council Koori Caucus and Caucus Chairpersons. As the Koori Caucus Coordinator, you will provide support and strategic advice to members of the Koori Caucus.
You will have a sound understanding of project management and demonstrate a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team and building strong working relationships with the members of the Koori Caucus and other Aboriginal stakeholders.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with the Yuma Yirramboi Council's Koori Caucus and sub-committees to support the delivery of projectsProvide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the teamMaintain relationships with other DJSIR, AED, and relevant Aboriginal stakeholders.The Team The position of Koori Caucus Coordinator forms a part of the Aboriginal Economic Development (AED) branch within the Economic Policy, Projects and Coordination group.
AED leads work across the department to support Aboriginal self-determination through employment and economic development.
