Our Shift Leaders have first line responsibility for terminal operations at our Darwin terminal. Supported by one other Operator, and casual operators as needed, you will ensure all operations and some minor maintenance activities are conducted to the highest safety standards, in accordance with Vopak's standards and procedures and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is critical to the successful operation of our terminal and ongoing future success. You will plan, supervise and delegate all shift activities including maintenance activities, respond to equipment fault or failure when they occur, ensure appropriate documentation and reporting is completed, mentor, train and sign off less experienced team members and ensure they are competent in all aspects of terminal operations.
