Field Service Technician – Electrical Development Equipment Komatsu Underground are seeking a capable service technician to support our customer on our world-class miners, shuttle cars and feeder breakers.
You'll kick off in Parkhurst at our manufacturing facility for training on the equipment before it's shipped to site with your support.
You'll be offered a tool of trade vehicle, accommodation 40 mins drive to site and an attractive roster and remuneration package.
This is a full-time permanent position.

Ongoing training and career development. Key responsibilities: Provide customers with pro-active advice and support, increasing equipment performance and productivity. Facilitate Flawless Start-up plans in line with global policy. Develop and standardize equipment and system commissioning plans. Provide advanced technical support for equipment in the field. Coordinate new product field trials and document results including any opportunities for product enhancement. Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues. Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs. Qualifications/Requirements: Demonstrated commitment to safety. Electrical Trade. Experience in mining manufacturing and engineering or in a similar heavy engineering environment with an emphasis on field applications. Exposure to mining systems and applications. Experience in new product introduction for mining systems or heavy mobile machinery. Working knowledge of mining system planning and operation at a mine site. Intimate knowledge of field engineering problem identification and resolution processes.
