The Opportunity: This sales and support role is responsible for increasing customers' spend with Komatsu by being aware of opportunities in the customers' business and selling the applicable Komatsu Product or Service. It requires the individual to be conversant in Komatsu's range of aftermarket products and services and to actively build relationships by adhering to the principles and standards of the Customer Support Charter.
A key component of this role is to maximise the investment in customer visits, delivering value to the customers' business through each interaction while gathering and reporting key information to support a proactive and team approach to sales growth. This role requires the individual to travel within the area they support and utilise company-funded accommodation to maximise customer-facing time.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Role Located: Mackay & Bowen Basin area

Effectively applies both professional and technical skills applicable. Customer focused and proactive in identifying opportunities. Able to utilise motel or camp accommodation an average of 6 nights per month to facilitate customer visits within assigned geographical area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties. Resilience in the sales process. Pipeline management and analysis. Efficiently work within the Microsoft Suite of software. Heavy Vehicle and equipment parts market experience desirable. Tertiary training highly regarded. Ready to get started?
