About the job This role involves leading the transfer of new knowledge and technologies from Research & Development and innovation projects to operational deployment.
Your responsibilities include developing and managing a process to track transfer opportunities, facilitating proof of concept and pilot trials, and overseeing their execution.
You will be focusing on building strong internal and external relationships, managing project risks, and influencing stakeholders to implement new knowledge and technologies.
The successful candidate should have strong communication and project management skills, along with knowledge of research & development, the water industry, and innovation practices.
Flexible hours and travel may be required.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Develop, maintain and lead a process to capture and monitor opportunities to transfer new knowledge and technologies.
Drive the transfer of knowledge from R&D projects.
Lead the design of proof of concept and pilot trials for new processes, methods and technologies.
Direct the execution of proof of concept and pilot trials to assess opportunities to create value.
Create value from R&D and Innovation activities through driving and influencing adoption.
Your success in this role will come from: A minimum of around 10 years of experience in roles that involve creating change and generating value through the identification, evaluation and implementation of new ideas, processes systems or technologies.
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and improve working relationships both internally and externally.
Demonstrated ability to influence a variety of stakeholders through strong communication skills.
Project management qualifications and/or experience involving investigation and testing of new technologies.
Tertiary qualification in science, engineering, or other relevant discipline, or significant demonstrated experience.
Knowledge of the water industry, associated processes, challenges, and directions.
