The Knowledge Management Specialist drives the development and implementation of a comprehensive knowledge management framework, leveraging technology and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Job Description The Knowledge Management Specialist focuses on developing and maintaining knowledge assets, systems, and repositories, requiring strategic oversight, stakeholder collaboration, and the integration of technology solutions. You will be a skilled communicator, turning complex knowledge management concepts into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical teams. Knowledge Asset Development & Management: Oversee the creation, organisation, and maintenance of knowledge assets, ensuring they are relevant, accurate, and aligned with compliance standards. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build strong relationships across the organisation to gather knowledge requirements, support decision-making, and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement. Technology Integration & Advocacy: Promote and support the integration of knowledge management tools and technologies into core business processes. Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Ensure all knowledge management practices and systems comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements, while continuously improving knowledge workflows and processes. Training & Capability Building: Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to teams to embed knowledge management practices, enhancing organisational capability and efficiency. Skills & Experience: Knowledge Management Expertise: Proven experience in developing and implementing knowledge management frameworks and systems that drive business outcomes. Technology & Tools Proficiency: Expertise in knowledge management technologies and collaboration platforms like Jira, Confluence, and Miro, and an understanding of CRM/CSM systems and decision support tools. Compliance & Governance: Experience ensuring knowledge management systems and processes align with regulatory and governance standards. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to assess knowledge management workflows and recommend improvements that enhance organisational effectiveness. Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, stay ahead of industry trends, and continuously improve knowledge management practices to meet evolving business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Experience in designing and implementing knowledge management frameworks Familiarity with knowledge management systems, repositories, and tools (including AI technologies).
