The Firm Our client is a long established commercial law firm that has flourished in the last 5 years and continues to grow.
The firm has a broad and varied client base and their key areas of practice are: corporate/M&A, real estate, tax, employment, estate planning, commercial disputes, commercial law, intellectual property, finance and financial services.
The firm is looking to recruit a Knowledge Management Lawyer who will be involved in developing precedents, creating knowledge systems and fostering a culture of sharing knowledge across the firm.
The role will also involve running internal training sessions with the partners and lawyers, as well as training sessions on new areas of law for external clients.
The responsibilities of the role include:
Developing and maintaining intranet content.Working with the firm's IT team on projects.Assisting with the production of newsletters for clients.Assisting with client seminars.Undertaking legal research on complex and niche areas of law.Attending to fee earner enquiries relating to maintained information.About You The ideal candidate will have:
At least 5 years experience as a lawyer, with experience in a similar knowledge lawyer/professional support lawyer role being advantageous.Excellent drafting and research skills.Strong organisational skills.First-class people and interpersonal skills.A hunger for knowledge.IT proficiency.Culture & Benefits Our client is proud of its culture.
