Our client is seeking a seasoned Knowledge and Configuration Manager to oversee their configuration management processes and knowledge management strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency. You'll have the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead by example, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.What you'll do:Develop, implement, and maintain the Configuration Management PlanManage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)Conduct regular configuration auditsDevelop and implement knowledge management strategiesCreate and maintain a centralized knowledge repositoryFacilitate training sessions and workshops to promote knowledge sharingWork closely with the Change Manager to assess the impact of changes on configuration itemsEngage with cross-functional teams to promote configuration and knowledge management practicesPrepare and present reports on configuration management activitiesMentor and support junior team members in configuration management and knowledge management practicesWhat you bring:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in configuration management and knowledge management within an IT environmentProven experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and configuration management toolsStrong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teamsFamiliarity with knowledge management systems and best practicesWhat sets this company apart:Our client is renowned for its commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
