About the Role : Knauf has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Administrator to join our Engineering team based in Pinkenba, QLD.
The role is a department support role, with responsibilities including:
PurchasingInvoice managementVendor relationshipsPurchasing recordsSite inductionsMaintaining department KPI'sAssisting with maintenance schedules and schedulingAssisting with work order managementThe role is a vital link in the department and works very closely with Engineers, supervisors and tradespeople.
Role Responsibilities : Provide general clerical work to assure the smooth operation of the Engineering and Maintenance Departments including filing, photocopying, faxing, printing and posting of notices.Assist with and/or prepare materials such as Work Orders/SWMS's.Compile information such as identification of items, costs, vendor, freight charges, etc.
for purchasing of all maintenance materials.Liaise with vendors in regard to credit account, statements, invoices, etc.Maintain all files and inventory records of all orders placed and received, including delivery time.Purchase parts and control invoice receipting & assist with maintenance work scheduling.Communicate maintenance work schedules to stakeholders.Print and issue Work Orders to relevant supervisors.Assist with stocktake administration work.Perform other office-based duties in support of the Engineering and Maintenance Department and for the needs of the Business.Candidate Requirements : Ability to maintain complex records and to assemble and organise data.High level of computer competency.
