ABOUT THE JOB You will be responsible for achieving sales and executing in store excellence within your territory. As a KitchenAid Account Specialist you will take ownership of your trade customer portfolio to drive exceptional category management, promotional activations and executing in store displays, point of sale materials, and product training. The KitchenAid Account Specialist position reports into the National Field Sales Manager and will work together to achieve the KitchenAid trade partner strategy and tactical plans.
Responsibilities: [include, but not limited to]
Grow the KitchenAid SDA business within territory and trade customersDevelop and adhere to an effective call cycle based on business needs, calling on trade and independent customers as necessaryAchieve monthly sales outlookCapture consumer, retail staff/management and competitor insights and communicate to the businessConduct in store merchandising. Ensure KitchenAid displays are best in class, using the merchandising and POG guidelines. Identify gaps in product range and ensure all point of sale is on displayComplete daily call reports by COB on the day of visitSubmit a monthly report on territory providing key insights based on data and field intelOrganize local and regional product training events for your trade customers and key decision makersDevelop and manage ongoing promotional calendar, activations and effectiveness within territoryBuild and maintain best-in-class relationships with trade customersAttend and support VIP sales events Daily intrastate travel to trade customer locations. Interstate travel as required to visit trade locations and achieve business targetsConduct in store demonstrations as required by KitchenAidArea / Territory: Melbourne North and West
ABOUT YOU You are a passionate individual with a business, commerce or technical background who is looking for an exciting opportunity. You are a proactive people person who enjoy working in a geographically dispersed network.
Previous experience in sales, trade retail, brand or product marketing preferred Previous experience in retail and small kitchen appliances preferredTarget driven and self-motivated; takes ownership of any challenges within territory and beyond job scopeAnalytical; continually using data to optimize product ranges and present findings both internally and externally to trade customersExceptional planning skills to optimize time managementStrong presentation and training ability; capture and maintain audience attentionRelationship management skills, both internally and externallyExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Google SuiteA current Australian driver's licence and your own car are required for this role. This job offers flexible working hours, approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, including some weekend.
