Kitchen Stewards - Sydney Theatre Company The Fresh Collective are looking for dedicated Kitchen Stewards to support the kitchen brigade at one of our venues - The Theatre Bar at the End of the Wharf which is part of Sydney Theatre Company - 15 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay.
The venue is a 5 minute walk from Barangaroo Metro stations.
We are offering up to 30 hours (maximum) per week with a mix of day and evening shifts, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
The Role â Kitchen Steward The Kitchen Steward is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Head Chef, including: General washing up Basic food preparation Cleaning of kitchen equipment Cleaning of kitchen surrounds Deep cleaning Benefits Regular hours in a central Sydney location Employee discounts across all Fresh venues Work in a company that really values its people Guaranteed Sundays off (venue is closed on Sundays) About You Prior experience of 1 year in a similar role, with knowledge of food hygiene A responsible person who shows initiative An eye for detail Hard working, physically fit and reliable â able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably Good communication skills In possession of a valid working visa, with availability to meet the required shifts.
