Penrith Panthers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Steward with excellent attention to detail to join their busy and friendly team.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic team player to join our fast paced and friendly kitchen team.
Working behind the scenes, your contribution to the team is vital to the successful operation of our two busy kitchens.
You will be responsible for the daily cleaning of kitchens, food storage areas and preparation of machinery and equipment.
You will thrive on a job well done and be self-motivated to make sure the kitchen areas are well presented and cleaned at all times.
Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to: The daily cleaning of kitchens and food storage areas; Cleaning of kitchen tools, machinery, appliances and utensils; Ensuring the kitchen area meets health and safety standards; Ensuring the correct use and storage of chemicals and equipment; Assisting during Panthers Home Games, transferring food and crockery to offsite venues when required and; Supporting the Kitchen Team with other general duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will possess: 6 months experience in a similar role would be advantageous;  Excellent communication skills;  Strong attention to detail; A good level of physical fitness as the role entails lifting and carrying kitchen items; The ability to work and remain calm under pressure; The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment and;  Strong pride in your work and take great satisfaction in a job well done; Why work for Panthers?
