Our signature restaurant, Mr Good Guy, takes you deep into the night markets of Asia, allowing our guests to experience the hawker food found in the backstreets and laneways of Southeast Asia in the heart of Devonport.
We pride ourselves on our fun, contemporary and authentic menu that showcases local produce and international favourites.
Mr Good Guy is looking for multiple-level chefs to join our team and help us celebrate the notion of Asian street food with a modern, urban twist at Mr Good Guy in Devonport!
Including kitchen stewards and chefs.

Job Description Ensure consistent great food production, in line with the high-quality standards Ensure all food preparation and plating is executed efficiently and meets presentation guidelines.
Perform tasks in a timely manner Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contaminating Assist other departments whenever necessary and maintain good working relationships Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation Awareness, departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team Meet all health and hygiene requirements Be environmentally aware Be flexible and rotate to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner to achieve the expected service standards Qualifications Experienced kitchen staff, preferably with knowledge of South East Asian Cuisine Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude Motivation, energy and drive A passion to learn and grow within the business A culinary artist with a passion for traditional and modern Asian cuisine Detail-focussed with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure Energetic and proactive with an enthusiasm to develop your culinary expertise A team player who easily builds rapport with colleagues and guests alike Trade qualification and experience in a similar role.
